Now, the UNHCR Peshawar is looking for a Protection Officer for suitable candidate.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements
Years of Experience / Degree Level For P3/NOC – 6 years relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree; 5 years relevant experience with a master’s degree; or 4 years relevant experience with a doctorate degree
Law, International Law, International Refugee Law, International Human Rights Law, International Humanitarian Law, Refugee and Forced Migration Studies, Political Science, or any relevant area.

Protection Learning Programme for Certificates and/or Licenses RSD- Resettlement Learning Programme

Job Experience that is Relevant
Essential
Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience, including experience working directly with Field Offices, in the areas of refugee protection, internal displacement, human rights, or international humanitarian law. Good understanding of international refugee and human rights law, as well as the capacity to apply legal principles. Excellent legal research, analysis, and drafting abilities.
Desirable
Experience in a variety of fields. Database management abilities are part of good IT skills.
